Since leaving the Northern Film School in Sheffield with an M.A. in film post-production and an award for sound design, Martin has applied his fertile imagination and relentless energy to a varied range of film projects.

His dynamic approach to shooting and editing action has already caught the eye of many of the worlds most respected film makers and his virtuoso performance as writer, director and director of photography on the extremely ambitious epic Displaced (2006) sets an intimidating new standard for independent film-makers worldwide.

Distinguished by warmth, wit and seemingly boundless originality, Martin’s work takes audiences seeking escapism where they long to go. Years of immersion in film production have given Martin a confidence and certainty of touch that ensure each project is as dazzling in conception as it is meticulous in execution.
